APC Portugal

The Portuguese Celiac Association is a non-profit association that exists to defend the interests and rights of its members and is dedicated to providing services and support for celiac disease through information, awareness, education and support programs. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of people who need a permanent gluten-free diet and to encourage and support research towards a cure or ethical forms of treatment.

Since 2020, APC collaborates with Adilac in the spread of lactose intolerance as they are related ailments. APC has developed -with the collaboration of Adilac- a specific section on its website where you can find basic information and supporting materials about lactose intolerance. Furthermore, from APC, basic queries about lactose intolerance are made in Portuguese.
